Fertility
Getting pregnant can be a challenge for many couples now and complementary therapies can provide wonderful support, getting your body in the best state to produce a happy, healthy baby.
Over the last 16 years I have worked with many couples who were having problems conceiving naturally. The vast majority have, over time, with the help of the therapies I practice gone on to have babies. The therapies relax, tone the reproductive areas and help them work to their optimum. I work with ladies while you are getting ready for IVF treatment, supporting you and providing a peaceful nurturing place during that stressful time.
I have found that a course of Reflexology treatments allows you to really relax properly, sometimes for the first time in long while. This allows me to work on specific areas with you, whether you're not ovulating, even emotional issues that may be affecting your ability to conceive.
Australian Bush Flower Essences and Aromatherapy are really helpful here to gently lift us up and ease worries that may even have developed either long ago. We choose blends just for you to take even when having IVF treatment. A Greek obstetrician, Maria Trivela, has developed these blends has been incredibly successful with her clients and with mine to date too!
I suggest committing to a course of treatment, firstly weekly for a month then we review to find the best level for you. Success can come very quickly or take some months. I'll be adding more testimonials in the next weeks.
I am a member of Nourish Satellite Network of therapists specialising in pre-conception care. I also refer clients to Foresight, a charity dedicated to promoting preconception care.
"I started seeing Rosemary for reflexology in the summer of 2007. My husband and I had been trying for a baby for almost four years. My failure to conceive was never fully explained at the time and so after an unsuccessful IUI attempt I decided to take matters into my own hands and investigate alternative and complementary therapies.
I found Rosemary through her website and contacted her after reading a testimonial like this one! I felt a positive energy right from the start: the reflexology is very gentle and relaxing, and Rosemary is a wonderful listener! I always feel calm and rejuvenated after a session.
Later that year I underwent IVF, sadly unsuccessful. The doctor hinted that my age and a particular hormone were to blame and suggested we look for an egg donor. Although I was naturally devastated, I do believe the reflexology helped to keep me calm through this difficult time.
During the early part of 2008 I continued with the reflexology. To be honest, I went for the therapeutic benefits as I had begun to let go of my dream of becoming a mother. So imagine my surprise when in May I found out I was pregnant! It was completely out of the blue! I have continued to see Rosemary throughout my pregnancy, which has been trouble-free thus far. I am due in eight weeks and if I'm late, I feel sure Rosemary will be able to help!
I can not recommend Rosemary highly enough and urge anyone in a similar position to me to at least try a couple of sessions with her. Reflexology helped I'm sure, even when things seemed futile. Rosemary gives no guarantees, but I always felt it was worth a try. Happily in my case, it was."
