Bowen Technique

Originally from Australia, this gentle therapy is very effective and deeply relaxing.

Bowen Therapy consists of a sequence of gentle moves, rolling over muscles and soft tissue, interspersed with periods of rest when I leave the room to let you relax before more treatment.   Tends to have a much more lasting effect than massage and other therapies.

Bowen encourages the body to adjust and rebalance itself on a deep level. It promotes healing, pain relief and energises you. A typical treatment takes about 45 minutes, 3 – 5 weekly sessions can be sufficient to achieve lasting relief from long standing pain.
