Migraine Action is coming to Colchester and holding a Migraine Education Day on Saturday 13th March 2010 between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm. Anyone with an interest in migraine is welcome.

The morning session will include a talk by Dr Giles Elrington, Consultant Neurologist at Oaks Hospital, Colchester, on acute treatments and medication overuse. After a short break we will continue with a presentation based around migraine management and preventative treatments.

Lunch will be provided from 12:15pm to 1:00 pm followed by interactive group workshops on:

Session A

1. Hormonal issues and headache for women - tbc
2. The Bowen Technique for migraine - Rosemary Cunningham, Trinity Centre, Colchester

Session B

1. Reflexology for migraine - Rosemary Cunningham, Trinity Centre, Colchester
2. Cluster headaches - tbc

 
Participants have a choice of one out of the two workshops for both sessions A and B.

There is a nominal charge of £10 per person for this meeting, to include a light buffet lunch. Places must be booked and paid for in advance.
